KENNEDY ASSASSINATED
New York Daily News . print of Nov. 23, 1963 Issue,
The Day Kennedy Died, For Anniversary of JFK's Assassination.
On Nov. 22, 1963, President John F. Kennedy was assassinated in Dallas, Texas. 50 years later, New York Daily News is remembering the life of JFK with a reprint of the newspaper they ran on the day after Kennedy died. The paper, which sold for ¢5 in 1963, ran the headline "KENNEDY ASSASINATED Johnson Sworn as President; Leftist Jailed as Slayer" with an image of President Lyndon B. Johnson and his wife consoling the widowed Jackie Kennedy.
"KENNEDY'S BODY LIES IN WHITE HOUSE; JOHNSON AT HELM WITH WIDE BACKING; POLICE SAY PRISONER IS THE ASSASSIN"

JFK SHOT TO DEATH .Front PAGE only
The Post 50 years ago today to learn about the assassination of President John F. Kennedy might recognize today’s front page.
It’s the same one that announced the tragedy just hours after Kennedy was killed.
For many New Yorkers, the first news about the unthinkable act of evil came from the block-letter headline: “JFK SHOT TO DEATH.”
The Post, which published in the afternoon, was the only New York paper to get out two separate extra editions in the 40 minutes between the first bulletin of the shooting and the announcement that the president was dead.
THE PRESIDENT ELECT JOHN F KENNEDY
Time Magazine , November 16, 1960, Election Extra, Featuring President Elect Kennedy
The product is a Time Magazine Election Extra issue from November 16, 1960, featuring President-Elect John F. Kennedy on the cover. It is a historical memorabilia collectible related to US politics, specifically focusing on the 1960 presidential election. Although the issue is in fair condition, it would make a great historical display piece on your coffee table, and is actually in good enough condition, in my opinion, to frame. Age has brought wear to the issue, which makes it all that much more a piece of history!
THE FATAL SHOT
25 November 1963 edition of ''New York Daily News'' screams ''The Fatal Shot'' referring to the shooting of JFK assassin Lee Harvey Oswald by night club owner Jack Ruby. Two photos of Oswald being shot dominate the front page. Back page features an image of the Kennedy family mourning as the coffin passes by. Paper runs 48pp. Some toning, a small tear to back page and light marks to spine. Very good condition.

DALLAS, Nov. 24 – A vengeful self-appointed executioner shot and killed Lee Harvey Oswald today, less than 48-hours after the pro-Castro Marxist assassinated President John F. Kennedy Friday. Television viewers across the country saw strip joint owner Jack Ruby, 52, break through a police guard and shoot Oswald during a jail transfer.
Oswald, 24, died in a hospital less than two hours later, just as the first mourners began to file past the slain President’s body in the great Rotunda of the Capitol in Washington.
