This is a Rare Vintage Dec. 9 1980 “Extra” edition of the New York Post newspaper, featuring a cover story & inner articles on the Life & assassination of Beatles & Rock Legend John Lennon on Dec, 8th. The oversized 64-page item, has the cover headline “I Just Shot John Lennon – Mad Killer’s Brazen Words as Yoko Watches in Horror”. The cover also has a photo of Lennon, with centerfold pictures inside. The issue also has lots of other Local & National news as well. The item is in Great condition, with only some light minor wear & foxing here & there along its page edges.
1980 New York Post " I Just Shot John Lennon " Original Newspaper. This is the original New York Post newspaper dated Tuesday December 9 1980 the day after he was shot. This newspaper is in great condition for being 45 years old. The paper is starting to yellow but there are no rips and no bad marks. This paper has 8 pages of pictures I think it is more than the December 8 newspaper. This is a great collectable piece. This item is being sold as is.
