This is a nice vintage antique 4-sided paneled with pedestal Chinese brass & cloisonne enamel tea caddy box. This little beauty is in really nice condition for being almost 80+ years old with some minor surface wear & scratches as shown in the pictures.
Antique Chinese 4-sided paneled Tea Caddy Box Repousse Brass Cloisonne Enameled Relief with Red Glass Marbled knob on lid and a pedestal base. Research shows this tea caddy box dish is possibly from the early 1900s-1941 era and is a beautiful example of the Chinese artistry, craftsmanship and beauty. There is a red glass marbled knob on top of the lid. The knob is mounted on a screw and is bent slightly. It turns freely on the screw shaft. The red glass knob has bubbles in the glass and has some bubble bursts or dents in the top of the glass marbled sphere (see pictures).
This antique Asian Tea Caddy box has beautiful patina and the enameled picture scenes are still bright and vivid colors which makes this a great treasure from an Oklahoma estate.
The Tea Caddy measures approx 4"Tall x 2.5"Wide. The pedestal base is 2 1/8" diameter on the bottom.
