Description
Native American, eastern United States and eastern Canada, Maine and Quebec, Northeastern Woodlands region.
A formidable club that is hand-carved from the burl of a hardwood tree. The roughly spherical wood burl constitutes the striking head of the weapon and includes an integral handle that arches slightly about 15 inches in length. Burl wood was prized when creating wooden weaponry, as the incongruous wood graining imbues the club head with far greater density and structural integrity. Size: 18" L x 4" W
