Joining ASCAP in 1922, his chief musical collaborator was Al Goodman, and his other popular-song compositions include "Little Grey Mother", "How I Love You, Mother Mine", "Too Beautiful for Words", "Wonder If She's Lonely, Too", "We're Going Over", "Buddy", and "You Didn't Want Me When You Had Me".
