It is produced by factories in and around the city of Limoges, France.
To be authentic, a Limoges box must be produced in the Limousine region of central France.
Limoges porcelain has a translucency when held up to light, whereas fake/reproductions will be opaque.
Hand-painted Limoges have more intricate designs painted in muted colors.

Bunches of purple and white grapes are vividly depicted on the vine, amidst shaded green foliage on a bright yellow ground.
Finished with a bright coin gold rococo style rim. All in excellent condition with no discernable ware or loss.
Four plates measures 7 inches diameter ,One is 6" in Diameter .All are in excellent condition. Expected manufacturing anomalies on porcelain pieces of this period are extremely minimal . . . dust bumps. . There is no fading, chips, hairlines, cracks or repairs.
