This machine hails from circa 1938.Serial No. N108588
This is another specimen of one of the highest quality vintage typewriters you can get, in my opinion.
Unlike it’s shiny black counterpart, this model boasts a durable matte crinkle finish that really shines. Note that, unlike the later Noiseless Model 7, the ribbon spool covers are metal on this, with elegant chrome handles. Also, this has the older-style, metal-rimmed keys, which make for a functional conversation piece.

While the weight is about 20 pounds in the case, it is considered a portable (the earlier models were huge desktops, about 50 lbs
