Vintage German Ribbed Hollow Stem Roemer Wine Glass Bacchus,
These vintage German Water Goblets/Wine Glasses with a green stem are a traditional household staple all over Germany, where they are used to serve sweet wines from the Rhine or Moselle Region. They are called Römer as a tribute to the Romans, who brought the wine grapes to Germany in the 4th century.
Six of these very special glasses are stunningly decorated with gold trim at the rim, as well as the grape cluster, leaf, and vine decoration that surrounds the bowl. Six are Etched and 4 shot glasses are plain. All are in green stems
One tall Glass has a music box Atached to it. Mapsa , Swiss Musical Movement

All glasses in the set are in wonderful vintage/used condition with no chips or cracks in the glass. The gold trim was well cared for and they appear to have never been used -
