dward Ben Avram (born 1941) is an artist who was born in Bombay, India and immigrated to Israel as a teenager.
He graduated from the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design in 1965 and continues to call Jerusalem his home.
Most of Avram’s oil paintings and watercolors portrays Israeli cities, religious festivals, and Bible stories.
He paints in creamy sensual tones incorporating symbols such as doves, a menorah, and Shabbat candles.

This piece is matted with glass in a wood frame.
Although it is hard to correctly measure the painting alone without removing it from the frame,
we estimate it at 11" wide x 14 1/2" tall”
The outer paper on the former outer frame had the label of the frame shop and we taped it on the reverse.
This artwork was acquired through an estate sale.
