Antique Blown cut Vase with Sterling Silver Base

Frank M. Whiting Co. began making silverware in North Attleboro, Massachusetts in 1878,
when it was known as Holbrook, Whiting & Albee. The company became a part of Ellmore Silver Co in about 1940,
and that firm went out of business around 1960. Crown Silver Co. of New York later acquired the Whiting dies.
The company mark of a griffon and a shield with a W was used up to 1896, and later a W in a circle flanked by stylized leaves.
Some pattern names: Adams, Athene/Crescendo, Botticelli, Georgian Shell, Lily/Floral, Neapolitan/Kings Court, Princess Ingrid, Rose of Sharon, Talisman Rose, Troubadour and Victoria/Florence.

Antique Cut Glass (Flowers & Leaf Pattern) Blown Glass Vase.
The rim diameter is 4 1/4". It has a Sterling Silver Base (not weighted)
made by Frank M. Whiting and fulled hallmarked on the bottom.
The base measures 3 7/8" diameter. Excellent condition without any fleabites, nicks, chips, cracks, scratches, etc.
Sterling silver base is nice, just needs shining .No damages or dents. Numbered 616.
