This is a Fabulous large Modern Art Glass Sculpture Bowl / Vase COFRAC France Art Verrier mid century modern art glass basket, made in France. Very Eamse Are / Mad Men, Mid Century Design. The crystal flows like water into a basket like shape.

It is acid etched on the base, COFRAC, ART VERRIER, FRANCE. No chips or cracks, very light shelf wear on bottom .

Art Verrier translates to Studio Art. The Studio Art movement started in America in the 1960's when a way was figured out to make molten glass available to artists working in private studios, which then spread to European countries. Because these pieces were all hand made, no two pieces are the same.
